Floating cabin - comfort on the Brazilian Amazon.Guests with River Plate Anglers have a choice of accommodations: highly mobile air-conditioned camps with comfortable cabins built on individual barges, or the 76-foot air-conditioned Blackwater Explorer motor yacht.
Typically set upon clean white beaches or clean grassy shores, each 12-foot by 15-foot barge accommodates two fishermen in surprising comfort. The interiors are tastefully decorated and every detail from individual air-conditioners, linen sheets, writing tables, hot shaving water, built-in shelving for clothes and gear and reading lights has been carefully considered. Each unit has its own bathroom facility with full water pressure for shower, sink and toilet. Dining, cocktails and lounging take place in a large, air-conditioned central structure with patio area.
Dining in style in remote Amazon.The tri-level Blackwater Explorer has been carefully designed to please the international fisherman, with eight air-conditioned staterooms, three large bathrooms with showers, a lovely dining room and separate cocktail salon - both air-conditioned - and an open-air top deck with grill and additional bar. All guests stay in single rooms. Although the yacht cannot travel in water as shallow as the Cabin Barges, it only draws four feet and is extremely mobile for a boat of its size.
