Bolivia's high-volume dove hunting and peacock bass fishing are easily reached via brief air charters.

Bolivia is the world’s new mecca for high-volume dove hunting. Fifteen to twenty million eared doves (Zenaida Auriculata) migrate north from Argentina and Paraguay each April to feed on the literally millions of acres of sorghum, sunflowers and soybeans. They stay until November, offering bird hunting that can only be described as “astonishing.”

Well-known outfitters Carlos Olano and Jorge Molina have constructed a beautiful, air-conditioned Bolivian-style lodge with Spanish tile roof, hand painted ceramics, huge Jacuzzi, six well-appointed guestrooms with en-suite baths, massage room, satellite television, and any and all amenities that make for a luxurious stay.
